Sacramento Division HS & TS California Middle School Competition Teams
The Sacramento Division CyberPatriot program competed for National finals with two teams; both of which competed against each other and tied for first place of approximately 6000 teams nationwide. Both SAC DIV high school teams have experienced members who have seen and experienced great success.
Both of the younger Training Ship California middle school level teams began without the advantage of prior experience and still performed extremely well.

NATIONAL COMPETITION
What is CyberPatriot?
CyberPatriot is AFA’s National Youth Cyber Education Program, created to motivate students toward careers in cybersecurity and other STEM disciplines. The center of CyberPatriot is designed to excite, educate, and motivate the next generation of cyber defenders critical to our nation’s future security. The program features the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition, a tournament-style competition in which high school and middle school students compete to defend a computer network against attack in a series of web-based competition rounds.
Although CyberPatriot is challenging, rewarding, and fun, we want you to talk to your parents and decide together if this is the right choice for you. Schoolwork comes first, and we don’t want CyberPatriot to affect your responsibilities to your school. There is a learning curve, and once you join the team, you must commit and be part of the team that will count on you.
To participate on the Sacramento CyberPatriot Team, a cadet must be a member of the Sacramento Division, be at least 14 years old, maintain 75% attendance at drills, be compliant in and with all USNSCC regulations and required standards (i.e., PRT, Advancement through coursework/promotion, attend community service events, fundraising, serve in areas such as on the color guard team, etc.).
