Uniforms are the first line of pride in the program that you participate in faulty uniforms will result in time spent correcting them so come to drill with creases and no wrinkles so you can participate in all activities.
Military creases are mandatory for all public functions and trainings ... it is advised
that these creases are present at unit drills BUT uniforms with creases on the arms
only and firmly pressed chest and back without wrinkles will be acceptable.

These are mandatory to distinguish ourselves from
the US Navy. If the uniform you were issued still has
Navy on the left breast pocket remove it until your USNSCC tape comes in from order.

Yet again these flashes are necessary to distinguish ourselves from the US Navy
therefore do not wear a uniform without them ... also the correct rank is necessary.
Finally, the Unit Flash (here as Gunfighter) is only for the Dress Uniform not the Utilities.
Ball caps are the authorized cover for the utilities. Ship ball caps
are not authorized for the unit use you must
wear the appropriate Sacramento Division or TS California ball
cap since ship and squadron ball caps are souveniers.
Petty Officers are authorized to wear the appropriate device
centered on their cover. Also, the dixie cup is the cover for
the dress uniforms and the utility when your ball cap is "missing in action."

A crooked or wrinkled neckerchief throws your entire uniform off
take time and pride in you neckerchief. To start out soak in water
then ring the water out. On low heat iron the wrinkles and then
follow the instructions above.

This is the oldest form of respect in any of the armed services.
Whether you are reporting, saluting an officer, or presenting to
the colors, you need to learn a proper salute.

Whats a rack? Its your bed in proper Navy terminology. You'll need to have
this memorized and perfect for practically every training you go to,
especially boot camp.
