Advanced Trainings

Advanced Trainings are required as a member of the Sacramento Division of the Naval Sea Cadets. Cadets will attend at least one training per year. The trainings are diverse and after attending a "boot camp" either in summer or spring cadets are qualified for advanced trainings.

Some of the advanced trainings the Sea Cadets have to offer include: Airman, Submarine Seminar, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Field Training, SWCC, Master at Arms, Marksmanship and many many more ...

All trainings can be found through this website under the Advanced Training section. Additionally, all of the times and locations not under the Summer section can be accessed through clicking on the Home picture which will take you to either the Spring or Winter section, depending on the season.

Cadet Testimonials

Crypt of John Paul Jones - Beneath the Naval Academy

Going to the United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar was by far the most interesting and beneficial training I have attended. It immersed me in an atmosphere where nobody gets left behind. Everyone was athletic, intelligent and competent. Nobody gave up, ever. Everyone pulled their own weight in everything. This level of maturity, dignity, and respect, is a very rare
feat. - Ryan Self

POLA was a great training to attend; I highly recommend this training to other cadets that wish to expand their leadership abilities. Some of the benefits of POLA are the Knowledge, meeting other cadets, how to become a better person, and how to be a better leader. POLA was really fun, We had a New Year’s party, and we played games for PT. Overall POLA was a great training. - C. Rodriquez

Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Diving Operations is one to beat them all and if you think otherwise we have C-4 and diving equipment to prove it. You are thrown straight into the intense PT regiment that only those who have seen BUD/S can understand. Although, after suffering through the morning you move onto intense activities such as SCUBA diving, weapons qualification, C-4 plastic explosives and more ... For those who want the SPECWAR community you can't miss this opportunity. - Brook Stevens
